Now comes the fun part. From the 1990’s to 2005 and again from 2014 to 2018, we would send request through the mail to athletes and celebrities for their autographs. We received over 1,000 responses, receiving anything from 8 x 10” photographs, trading cards as well as our letter returned with a signature on it. We will be starting back up in the near future. 

Probably most I have, I don’t know when I sent them out or when I received them. My record keeping has been poor to non-existence.  In the future, I’ll start adding when I mail out my request and what success or failures that I have. 

That won’t be for some time as I have my house up for sale and plan to move closer to my son and 6 grandkids. Once we can settled, I’ll start mailing out request. I also will be adding the sports cards that I have with autographs on them. These will be the ones available via card packs, boxes, redemption cards, etc. 

So let’s get started. Autograph #4 will be PGA golfer, Stuart Appleby. We sent a request via the PGA of America. We don’t have any records of when we sent it or received it. We received the below 8X10″ autograph photograph. Appleby has 20 professional wins over his career.
