Delk was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1st round (16th pick, 16th overall) of the 1996 NBA Draft out of the University of Kentucky. Delk played 10 years in the NBA for the Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and the Detroit Pistons.
