Autograph #152 – Today we received a response to our autograph request to former MLB shortstop Dal Maxvill. Maxvill signed our request letter. It took us 15 days to receive his response. We sent out autograph request to his home address at:

1115 Eagle Creek Rd.
Chesterfield, MO 63005

Maxvill was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent out of Washington University in St. Louis in 1960. He made it into MLB in 1962 and played with the Cardinals till 1972 when he was traded to the Oakland A’s. He played with the A’s till 1973 when the Pittsburgh Pirates purchased his contract. He played with the Pirates to the mid part of 1974 when he was released. The A’s signed Maxvill again. He played with the A’s till his retirement in 1975.
