Autograph #177 – Today we received an autographed 8X10 photograph from our request to former MLB catcher Kirt Manwaring (Autograph request #102) in a San Francisco Giants uniform. He inscribed it “Gold Glove 1993”. It took 15 days to get his response. We sent our request to Kirt Manwaring, 18690 SE Lakeside Way, Jupiter, FL 33469-8111. Thank you Mr. Manwaring!

Manwaring was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 2nd round of the 1986 MLB June Amateur Draft from Coastal Carolina University. He made it to the majors in 1987 and played with the Giants till the middle of the 1996 season when he was traded to the Houston Astros. He was granted free agency at the end of the 1996 season. Manwaring signed with the Colorado Rockies in 1997 and played with the Rockies till he retired at the end of 1999.
