Autograph #181 – Today we received a response to our autograph request #89 – former NHL left wing Doug Smail. He sent us an autographed 8×10 photograph of him playing for the Quebec Nordiques. It took 27 days to receive a response. We sent our request to Doug Smail, 23550 Pondview Pl., Golden, CO 80401-9353. Thanks Mr Smail!

Smail was signed as a free agent out of North Dakota State in 1980 by the Winnipeg Jets. He played for the Jets till 1990 when he was traded to the Minnesota North Stars. In 1991, he signed with the Quebec Nordiques. Smail finished his career in 1992 with the Ottawa Senators.
