Autograph #189 – Today we received a response from our Autograph Request #92 – Wes Gardner. Mr. Gardner sent us a signed 1988 Donruss card. It took 29 days to receive his response. We mailed our autograph request to Wes Gardner at 1350 Cambridge Rd,
Benton, AR 72019-2379.

Gardner was drafted by the New York Mets in the 22nd round of the 1982 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Central Arkansas. He made it to the majors and pitched for the Mets in 1984 & 1985. After the 1985 season, he was traded to the Boston Red Sox for several minor leaguers. Gardner pitched for the Red Sox from 1986-1990 when he was traded to the San Diego Padres at the end of the 1990 year. In 1991, he pitched for the Padres but was let go at the end of May. He later caught on with the Kansas City Royals. He retired after the 1991 season.
