Finley was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 3rd round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft from Rancho Bernardo HS (San Diego, CA). He pitched in the Yankees minors from 2015-2018. In 2019, he pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers minors. He never made it out of A ball.
