Autographs #231, 232 & 233 – We received a response today from our Autograph Request #126 – Musician Nelson Rangell sent back on October 30, 2025. It took 45 days to receive something from him. However, he had the courtesy to send me an email soon after receiving my request letting me know that he would get something out to me. He even sent an email to let me know the day he mailed it. What we received were two autographed 8X10’s of him, he signed our letter with a request for an autograph as well as sent us an autographed CD. Thank you very much Mr. Rangell.

We sent our request to Nelson Rangell, 7287 S Ridgeview Dr. Littleton, CO 80120.

Rangell’s debut album was released in 1987 by Gaia/Gramavision Records. Soon after, he was signed to GRP by Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen. In the 1980s he was a member of Members Only, a jazz ensemble which recorded for Muse.

Beginning in 1989, he recorded eight albums for GRP. He has recorded with The Rippingtons, Chuck Loeb, Patti Austin, Tom Browne, the GRP All-Star Big Band and is featured on The Hang, an album by Don Grusin that was nominated for a Grammy Award.
