Freeland was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 4th round (106th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Brigham Young University. He played in 16 games for the Colts in 2023 at tackle. Freeland played in 9 games in 2024. Before the start of the 2025 season, Freeland was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
