Bordeleau played center in both the NHL & WHA. He was undrafted and signed with the Montreal Canadiens playing with them from 1968-1970 when he was traded to the St. Louis Blues. Bordeleau played with the Blues from 1970-1972. From 1971-1972 he played with the Chicago Blackhawks. From 1972-1975, Bordeleau played with the Winnipeg Jets when he was traded to the Quebec Nordiques. He played with Quebec from 1975-1979. In 2012, he was inducted into the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame.
