Darrell-Hicks signed as a free agent out of Western Kentucky University with the Los Angeles Angels. He was claimed off waivers in 2025 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Darrell-Hicks made his MLB debut on April 11, 2025 with the Angels. He pitched in 6 games for the Angles. He pitched in one game for the Pirates in 2025.
