Autograph #262 – This autograph was given to me by my cousin Gordon Rivet. Gordon is a retired radio-sports announcer from Natchitoches, LA. Gordon met Tolar as Tolar is from Natchitoches, LA. I can only guess that this book was the only thing handy for him to use.

Tolas was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 27th round (319th overall) of the 1959 NFL Draft out of Northwester Louisiana State University. He was released by the Steelers and signed with the Houston Oilers of the American Football League. Tolar played in 95 games for the Oilers from 1960-1966 scoring 23 TD as a running back.

Tolar died in 2003.
