Autograph #263 – Yesterday we received in the mail a response to our Autograph Request #141 – Rob Blake. It took 24 days to receive his response. He signed our letter requesting an autograph. We mailed our request to Rob Blake, 3020 The Strand, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266-3952. Thank you Mr. Blake!!

Blake was selected 70th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings out of Bowling Green State University. He went on to play 11 seasons with the Kings for a total of 805 games. Blake was traded by the Kings to the Colorado Avalanche in February 2001. He played for the Avalanche for 5 seasons in 322 games. In 2006-07, he signed back with the Kings as a free agent. Blake signed as a free agent with the San Jose Sharks playing from 2008-2010 in 143 games. He retired after the 2010 season playing in 1270 games. Blake is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
