Autograph #282 – This is part of our collection. This is an autographed 8X10″ photograph of Coach Tommy Bowden when he was at Clemson University. I don’t have a record of when I requested his autograph or when I received it. It had to be between 1999-2008 as that is when he was the coach at Clemson.

Bowden attended and played football for West Virginia University from 1972 through 1976. After his college days, he started as either a graduate assistant or an assistant starting at West Virginia then going to Florida State, Auburn, back to Florida State, Duke, Alabama, Kentucky, back to Auburn and finally was named the head coach at Tulane University in 1997 only to leave in 1998 after Tulane went undefeated at 12-0 (#RollWave). Bowden resigned his coaching duties at Clemson on October 13, 2008 with the team at 3-3. His overall coaching record as 89-49.
