Autograph #335 – Today we received a response from our autograph request #166 – Margene Adkins. It took 25 days to receive his response. He signed our letter requesting an autograph. We mailed our request to Margene Adkins, 2312 Donnyville Ct, Ft Worth, TX 76119-3111. Thank you Mr. Adkins.

Adkins was a wide receiver who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2nd round (49th overall) of the 1970 NFL Draft from Henderson County Junior College in Athens, TX. He played mainly as a punt and kickoff return specialist for the Cowboys till 1971 when he asked to be traded. He was traded to the New Orleans Saints in 1972. The Saints traded him to the New York Jets in 1973. He was released by the Jets in 1974 and suffering several injuries. He ended his football career with the Chicago Winds in 1975 playing in the World Football League for the Chicago Winds.
